Thinking Out Loud
Thinking Out Loud is a public affairs program covering the workplace, the community, and the environment from a pro-labor, leftist point of view, and with a prospective that ranges from local to global. It is broadcast in English from 10 to 11 a.m., with a different language each day from 11 a.m. to Noon (Khmer, Spanish, or Brazilian Portuguese). Thinking Out Loud offers underreported news, information and opinion. We are affiliated with the National Radio Project, the Independent Media Centers, the Workers Independent News Service, and TUC radio.
This morning we talk about economics and farming from a few different points of view.
Here is audio for future radio broadcasts from the American Friends Service Committee (New Hampshire) Celebration of Youth Activism, October 10, 2009, featuring pioneering civil rights activist Claudette Colvin, Phillip Hoose, who wrote a remarkable book telling her story, New Hampshire civil rights activist Valerie Cunningham, AFSC- NH’s Arnie Alpert, Molly Messenger, and Maggie Fogarty and an all-star cast of youth activists (http://www.afsc.org/newhampshire). While I made recordings of the event, Steve Diamond of WSCA in Portsmouth made better ones and graciously shared his with me.

It appears we may have to be shutting down this site by October. We hope to be able to back it up and restore it elsewhere, but our university-based non-profit hosting service is going to have to drop us due to lack of continued funding.
